Myesha Butts

Working with children was something I manifested within myself as a child. Whenever asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my response was always either a pediatrician or child psychologist. I have been in the childcare industry for 10 years altogether. I began my journey as a teacher working with infants through school aged children. But, I always had a sweet spot for working with the two’s. Through my journey I truly developed a passion for working with children and being a part of their growth and development. I took a brief break from childcare from 2013-2019 while pursuing a career in the food industry as a chef. In 2019, I welcomed my third child and decided to go back to my roots in childcare. This is where I was truly inspired to not only grow in my knowledge in early childhood education, but also in my leadership skills. In 2021 I became the office manager at Carpe Diem Cedar Park. This school, community and staff inspired me to grow in ways I never imagined. In July of 2022 I became Assistant Director of the school. It was during this role that I was inspired to complete my Directors certification. I truly enjoy working with children, but also being able to inspire and support the teacher’s. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, and continuing my love for food by making customized cakes and treats!
